Barcelona, February 23, 2024 – The Mobile World Congress (MWC) is back in Barcelona from 26-29 February 2024, and this time, Fractus will be at the heart of the action, actively participating in a several key events at the 4YFN

At the congress, we’ll be once again sharing our story, lessons learned and expertise within the Deep Tech and entrepreneurial world . Check out the exciting activities we’ll be participating in:

Febuary 26th

• 12.15 Round table – “Ten Years of Local Heroes“. Fractus’ CEO Rubén Bonet will participate in a dialogue with other business leaders, exploring crucial topics such as market access, talent, funding and future challenges. This round table will be held at the Sabadell Stage, at 12.15h, with other expert voices such as Maria Martín, from Tiendeo and Àlex Martí from Mitiga Solutions. The session will be moderated by Lluís Juncà, General Manager of Innovation, Digital Economy, and Entrepreneurship of the Government of Catalonia.
• All day Matchmaking – Fractus Open Innovation Challenge with the participation of international startups and companies and with Carmen Borja, Ricardo Colin Pérez, Marta Barba. We’ll be holding one-one-one meetings with several local and international startups in matchmaking meeting rounds that aim to promote collaboration, investment opportunities and knowledge exchange. Overall, the Open Innovation Challenge is a great platform for sharing ideas, exploring synergies, and potentially forming partnerships to develop new technologies or improve existing ones. This event is organized by ACCIÓ.

February 27th

• 10.00 Round table – “Why Deep Tech Startups Must Invest In A Strong Patent Strategy” with Carles Puente i Baliarda, Carlos Abellan, Isabel Pato Cour, Francisco Badia Ortega, and moderated by Anna M. Sánchez Granados. We will participate in an essential discussion on patent strategy, highlighting our dedication to the protection and development of intellectual property (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona Activa) Stand Barcelona Activa 4YFN Hall 8.1
• 16.00 Round table – “How to monetise your technology through IP?”, with Rubén Bonet, Matthew Van Niekerk, Jorge Isern and moderated by Marina Valls Soler (Mobile World Capital Barcelona).
