Graz, November 21, 2018 – This week the SME Assembly 2018 took place in Graz, with the objective to discuss measures that encourage innovation in European SMEs. Mr. Ruben Bonet, CEO of Fractus and IP Europe SME Chair, had an active role in the meeting discussing about the importance of the patents for the SMEs.
The SME Assembly is the most significant event for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. It provides an important forum for the enterprises, business support, government, academia and the media to come together to focus on creating an environment in which Europe’s SMEs can thrive.
The conclusions that will come up in the forum will lead to a “Manifesto for an Innovative Europe”, which will describe the actions that should be taken to incentivize growth for European SMEs.
The Assembly is organized by the European Commission, in co-operation with the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the Regional Government of Steiermark.
