- Fractus named as one of the 2006 "Fierce 15" mobile broadband companies by international publication FierceWiFi.
- Fractus short range wireless antenna lead engineer Dr Jordi Soler wins Nokia Prize for his doctoral thesis on multi-frequency and small monopole antenna techniques.

- Fractus signs its first contract to supply base station antennas - to Spanish telecoms giant Telefónica.

- First cell phone internal pentaband antenna - combining GSM900, GWSM1800, PCS, UMTS, Bluetooth.

- Fractus S.A. established in Barcelona, Spain by Dr Puente and telecoms industry consultant Ruben Bonet.
- First seed capital investment secured to begin Fractus operations.
